The story behind this horrifying image is nothing less than astonishing. This demonic specter became the inspiration for the main fallen angel, the so called extraterrestrial protagonist in both of my novels, The Great Harpazo Deception and Invasion Israel.

 

“What you (I) meant for evil against God, God meant for good in order to bring about this present result (my novels) and to preserve many people alive.” (Genesis 50:20).

 

God had a plan all along and He used my earlier shamefully derived demonic image to warn people over 15 years later of this upcoming UFO deception (see my first article The Looming Great Harpazo Deception). Over 25 years ago (see my article Forever Grateful), I was the Arizona State Director of the Jewish National Fund (JNF) for which I raised $50,000 to plant trees in Israel honoring then Arizona Governor, Bruce Babbitt. After leaving the University of Arizona in Tucson as a professor the year before due to budget cuts, I had unexpectedly found myself a fund raiser for Israel stationed in Phoenix. In hindsight (which is always 20/20), it is obvious that God had a plan all along even by using this demonic drawing to bring me to Him which He did in Phoenix (not Tucson) in 1988. At the time, I was very upset about leaving the University and all my friends and my family in Tucson as well as my chosen hard earned profession after eight years of college and three degrees.(BA, MA, PhD) Even though at the time, I was

 

“Always learning and never able to come to knowledge of the truth” (2 Timothy 3:7).

 

But fortunately

 

 “Christ died for me while I was still in my sins” (Romans 5:8).

 

The common thread that linked both my former professorial and my new Jewish community professional (Pharisee) pursuits was my interest in Jewish mysticism, Kabbalah. When I had read through the Zohar, the Kabbalistic Bible, I had learned about Jewish mystical meditation, was encouraged to seek universal knowledge (gnosis) without worrying about sin or forgiveness, learned about the Jewish mystical concept of reincarnation or gilgul, and also learned about former well known Jewish spirit guides. If many famous rabbis of old as well as my new Rabbi friends had believed in these concepts what could be the harm? I was on a one way street, in the fast lane to be precise, to hell and I loved it. Sin feels good for a season but there is a price to pay eventually.

One day in 1983, I was sitting at my desk at the JNF and had found myself doodling on a piece of paper. Over the next several months, I did what psychics and mediums do and I apparently without consciously realizing it channeled (conjured up) images from the spirit world via automatic writing. Of course the Bible says that anyone that is involved in this type of activity of “witchcraft, sorcery, mediums, spiritists”, is detestable to the Lord (Deuteronomy 18:10-12), but once again God had a plan and would use for good what I meant for evil in His timing.

 

My newfound mystical rabbi friends Rabbi Plotkin and Rabbi Rebbibo, loved my “drawings” and were convinced that they were from the spirit world (Yiddish is yenne velt) and encouraged me to publish them. I did get them published in a University of California journal, DreamWorks, vol.4, no.3, 1984, pgs 187-188 in an article entitled An Excursion into the Yenne Velt where I had talked about the spirit world that “intersects our own normal waking reality.” I also got them published in a Kabbalistic Journal. Of course, now these same rabbis would have a fit if they found these drawings associated in any way shape or form with Jesus Christ or Christianity as I have done. Go figure! For many of my lost Jewish brethren, you can talk or believe in almost anything but Jesus Christ. You can be a Buddhist Jew or a scientology Jew, or a Hare Krishna Jew or an atheist Jew or a Kabbalistic Jew but just don’t believe in Jesus.

 

“God made foolish the wisdom of the world” (1 Corinthians 1:20).

 

“The word of the cross is foolishness to those that are perishing” (1 Corinthians 1:18).

 

After reading psychic Ruth Montgomery’s book Aliens among Us in 1986, I sent her the article above with the drawings in it. She liked them so much that she put me in contact with another famous psychic in Phoenix who proceeded to further darken my life for the next couple of years, but in spite of all this deception and error, God had a plan which was manifest in 1988 (see again my testimony in Forever Grateful) in spite of my psychics, my astrologer, my Jewish mysticism and my live in girlfriend.

 

“You did not choose me but I choose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit “(John 15:16).

 

After I got saved by the amazing grace of a loving Savior, and my eyes were opened (Isaiah 35:5), I realized the real identity of aliens as fallen angels and their upcoming great deception. I discovered that

 

“The battle with UFOs is not for the planet of man but for the soul of man”. UFOs, I learned from the Holy Spirit, were actually fallen angels hell-bent on deceiving us.

 

I wrote a spec treatment for the X-Files TV show in 1995 on this which was not accepted obviously given its religious tone but which eventually morphed into my two novels in 2000 and in 2004, In 1998, I had miraculously received back this drawing from a local critic after I had destroyed it years before when I got saved. God had a plan all along. I got the name Azazel from the extra-Biblical works The Apocalypse of Abraham and The Book of Enoch which described Azazel as a fallen angel (the leader, the worst) one that had rebelled against the Mighty one and who had scattered over the earth the secrets of heaven. This was the perfect name and image for my archetype of the evil fallen angel aka extraterrestrial.

 

Behold Azazel the unbridled image of pure evil who will lead you smiling to the pits of hell.

This battle is “not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forms of wickedness in the heavenly places” (Ephesians 6: 12).

As I said before, this battle with UFOs is not for the planet of man but for the soul of man. It is all about your eternal destiny. Do not be deceived.
