The Vilna Gaon (born 1720) wrote that, in the end of days, when you see that all 70 nations of the world, which is simply the gematria of “GOG UMAGOG,” are unified against us, (amounting to 200 countries today) that is when we will see the wars of Gog Umagog and in turn the heralding of the final redemption.

So here we are, a few days after the “incident” in the Mediterranean that pushed Israel into the “shun” category. It would appear that we are living in the last days, the days in which the whole world is against the Jewish state. I keep harping on this because most of the world doesn’t have a clue as to what is really going on. Yes, we see the forces building up all around Israel. Yes, there are skirmishes and lots of saber-rattling, but what the average Joe doesn’t understand is that ancient Biblical prophecies are being played out, now, on the world stage. These prophecies were written thousands of years ago, and now we see them coming alive.
Of course, if one positions oneself in the Replacement theology camp, where the church assumes the promises of Israel, then none of this will make any sense. If one is ignorant of the prophecies, as most people are, they will not understand the gravity of the times in which we live, and remain in the dark as to what is really going on. They will not understand or acknowledge that the Jews are God’s chosen people, that they have been gathered from the four corners of the earth and set in their original homeland. Why? Because the 70th week of Daniel is yet to be fulfilled. It’s all connected folks. It’s there in the guidebook, for us to read and understand.
However, most people have never read the prophecies and so remain uninformed, as to what is really going on. When I’m speaking I try to give the audience a foundation from which I can build from. That foundation is rooted in prophecy, specifically from Mathew 24, when Jesus informs the Jews that, they did not know the day of their visitation. He is pointing to the prophecies of Daniel. He holds the nation of Israel accountable to know the prophecy of his coming. They didn’t know it and so missed the coming of, the one who was sent.
I believe we are in the window of time where we will see the Gog/Magog prophecy fulfilled. I believe it will be catastrophic and perhaps nuclear weapons will be used. I also believe that this will trigger the Great Deception. The Middle East war is the prelude, the harbinger, the beginning, of the end game. The Fallen One has been planning this for millenia. Remember, the mystery of lawlessness is at work! This is the Fallen One’s last stand, he is not going to pull any punches. In fact, as the prophecy succinctly tells us, he will come with all signs and lying wonders! In closing, what appears on the surface is just that, the surface, underneath a cosmic conspiracy is about to unfold. It will affect everyone on this planet. It will change our lives. It will plunge the world head-long into the dreaded seven years of the Tribulation.
I know this is not what most of us want to hear. Go listen to Joel Olsteen then, if you want a feel good message! I would be remiss if I did not sound the warning. What people do with it is up to them. There will be some who scoff, others will heed it and prepare….
