Over the last three years, syndicated radio and Fox News host Glenn Beck has morphed from a clever, funny political talk show performer into a clever, occasionally funny, and painfully sincere TV preacher who’s emerged as the de facto spokesman for America’s Christian right.

Everyone from such disparate groups as governments, research scientists, military officers, UFO organizations, New Age seekers, secret United Nations groups, and the Vatican are all talking about the possibility of an upcoming full disclosure of the presence of UFOs in our midst.  They all sincerely think that they know, but all are actually unwitting dupes in a great deception that they have no idea even exists. The very deceivers are being deceived.

OK – Nothing to worry about! It’s just another one of those pesky corp circles. Those guys with the boards and string really need to get a life! I, for one, can certainly think of more productive enterprises to conduct at 3:30 in the morning… like sleeping!

It's that time of year again, when moms can buy four boxes of crayons for a buck, and students around the country are starting to pile books into their lockers and desks.  If you are a proud parent, now is the perfect time to have a discussion with your children about their faith and some of the challenges they may face in the coming months.

The word antichrist was coined by the Apostle John and is found only in his epistles. It can mean “against Christ” or “instead of Christ.” W.E. Vine in his expository dictionary of New Testament words comments on this word, saying that by combining the words anti and Christ, it can mean “one who assumes the guise of Christ, or opposes Christ.”

A recent Pew Research Poll reports that as many as 20 percent of Americans - and as many as 31 percent of Republicans - consider President Barack Obama to be a Muslim. Only one-third of the populace thinks he is a Christian, and 43 percent do not know what religion Obama upholds. The doubts about Obama's Christianity have mounted since March 2009, when Pew estimated that 11 percent of Americans considered Obama a Muslim.

At some future point Michael and his angels will do battle with Satan and his angels. Where does this battle take place? In the second heaven. This is the domain of the Luciferian army. While we are not told how these entities fight, it would appear that this is not a mere skirmish but a battle in which the host of heaven essentially evict the hosts of hell!

This week Pastor Mike covers the ground zero Mosque, full body scanners, an end to citizen petition efforts, a revolt within the U.S. armed forces, embryonic stem cell research, micro chipping people, RFID tracking, Benny Hinn, the swastika, the Denver airport, and the Age of Aquarius.

While all of this is fascinating speculation, I obviously cannot attest to the author’s claims but I can attest to the reality of the Devil and of satanic possession because the Bible tells me so. Back in the 60’s I too was into the occult and mysticism and numerology as were many in the “Age of Aquarius” but while I was obviously influenced by the Devil, I never consciously made a pact with him.

In 1992 when I moved to Flagstaff, I found out that his philosophy was being used in Flagstaff school curriculum and I went to a local school board meeting to oppose it.

It just amazes me that Maitreya Rael gets the press that he does. He makes an announcement and it’s picked up by almost every major media outlet! He has a good PR firm, that’s for sure, but let’s take a good look at what Rael is saying. First off he tells us that the Elohim are, our creators from space. Now some of you may just shrug your shoulders and say, so what. This of course flies in the face of what Christianity teaches, that a benevolent God created all life from nothing i.e. ex nihilo, and that we were created  in his image.

Today is the one year anniversary of Hearken the Watchmen.  We “went live” last year on August 19, 2009 with the article The Looming Great Harpazo Deception by Dr. Stephen Yulish.  Since then HTW has grown from four contributors to ten with more Christian writers and researchers waiting in the wings.  Look for an expansion of the website and other exciting projects connected with this group of excellent contributors in the future.

The Pharisees and other religious leaders didn’t believe He was the Messiah. Remember even Phillip, who would later become one of Jesus disciples, asks, Can anything good come out of Nazareth? The people who lived at the time when Yashua/Jesus walked the earth didn’t know who He was. They, in fact, did not recognize him and they plotted to kill him.

I am sure that any American old enough to remember September 11, 2001 will never forget the awful events of that day and exactly where they were when they heard the news and saw the images being beamed live via satellite from “ground zero” in New York City. Without fear of contradiction I believe that we can say that this event was this generation’s Pearl Harbor.

It is a personal affront to the 3000 persons killed by Islamic terrorists on 9/11 to build an Islamic cultural center including a mosque so close to ground zero in lower Manhattan. Sure, we have Freedom of Religion here in America which they do not have in Islamic countries but to want to build a mosque so close to ground zero is very suspect and insensitive.

Last Wednesday, CNN released a poll showing that 68% of Americans oppose locating a Muslim cultural center close to the site of the World Trade Center. Go figure. Who'd guess that people would be a little touchy about a mosque near a site destroyed by Islamic terrorists? (Yes, I know there are questions about the official 9/11 story, but we're talking politics here, not reality.)

Paul Verhoeven, the 69 year old Dutch, Catholic, celebrated Director of such films as Total Recall, Robocop, and Basic Instinct, who also has a Doctorate in Mathematics and Physics, has a new book coming out (and probably a movie at some time in the future by the same name) entitled Jesus of Nazareth: A Realistic Portrayal. This book ups the ante on blasphemy begun by books like Holy Blood and Holy Grail and The DaVinci Code where Christian doctrine in general was challenged, by alleging that Jesus was the bastard son of the rape of Mary by a Roman soldier named Panthera as opposed to Scripture’s statement of His virgin birth to Mary who was with child by the Holy Spirit (Matthew 1:18, 23).

We began a new series of teaching last time that we entitled. “The Antichrist – Separating Truth from Fiction.” I chose this title because there have been things taught through the years concerning this individual that rather than being based on scripture have largely been based on assumptions that have arisen largely out of tradition from a few anti-Semitic early Church fathers. We are setting out to hopefully clear up some of these and present a more scripturally balanced look at this one who will come in the end of days.

Every person on the planet is broken, damaged in some way. No one lives on this earth for any length of time and comes through it unscathed. My first mentor Wayne Kendall, once told me that human beings are like garbage dumps. What he meant is that all of us have inside us, a mound of collected trash of hurtful words, or memories of physical abuse, or emotional trauma and most of us don’t know how to deal with it.

Prayer has been a part of public life in America since long before the drafting of the Constitution, and has continued to be important to Americans in the centuries since. But not without contention. Even now, in the 21st century, lively battles over public prayer are mussing the hairs of city councils and hometowns across the country. The issue these days, however, isn't whether prayer is permitted under the First Amendment; it absolutely is permitted. The issue is whether those who pray can mention Jesus by name when they pray.

The question has been posed to us several times in recent weeks:  aren't you spending way too much time talking about esoteric stuff?  What's with the ghosts, UFOs, and Nephilim? Aren't these fringe topics a distraction from the gospel of Jesus Christ? Shouldn't you focus on sound Bible teaching instead of the weird stuff?  That's a valid question. The simple answer:  No.

There are hundreds of prophecies that refer to the Messiah, many of which were fulfilled in the first Coming of Christ, and others that will be fulfilled in His Second Coming and 1,000 year reign.  The only other person who receives such attention, and it may surprise some, in the biblical prophetic scriptures is the coming final prince of darkness, the Antichrist.

Pastor Mike discusses California’s Proposition 8 and what the ruling overturning the state's constitutional amendment means for America.  He also turns the spotlight on the church and talks about the sin that exists within.

The Vatican's chief astronomer, Rev. Jose Gabriel Funes, the Director of the Vatican's Observatory, stated in a press release that "extraterrestrials are our brothers." He continued that "believing that the universe may contain alien life does not contradict a faith in God because aliens would still be God's creations." He concluded that "ruling out aliens would put limits on God's creative freedom."

To say that these new crop circles are strange is an understatement. Are they real? When the two circles are superimposed on each other it does, in fact remind me of The Shroud of Turin. These circles are over 250 in diameter and one can only see the images from the air. Is it a hoax?

The Bible is not alone. Around the world, legends can be found of a global flood. Many of the details are different, but the essential elements tend to be there; a massive flood wiped out everybody but a particular righteous man. Often boats and animals are involved. The use of animals and birds to check the receding of the waters, and the violence of the flood are common themes.

If you will recall last time we started taking a look at three possible interpretations of the oft discussed passage of scripture Revelation 13:3. The Word says, And I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast. [Rev. 13:3 NKJV] Most prophecy teachers have misinterpreted this passage in my opinion.

It's a proven fact that Jesus did come and that He did die on that cross 2,000 years ago. Flavius Josephus, who was a Jewish authority, a Roman scholar and who lived from A.D. 37 to A.D. 100, has recorded this for us in his work, The Antiquities of The Jews. Josephus verifies that Jesus was an historical figure who was called Christ, who was crucified by Pontius Pilate, and who rose again on the third day.

News of the recent deaths of two U.S. Navy personnel in Afghanistan is the exclamation point on a lesson we should have learned several years ago: it's time to leave Afghanistan to the Afghans.  The United States will not win there. The Russians couldn't subdue the country after ten years of occupation with a larger force, and it's safe to say that the Russian military wasn't restrained by the same restrictive rules of engagement as our soldiers. Soldiers on the ground have complained that they're hog-tied by regulations aimed at preventing civilian casualties--rules that put them at risk.

In our last post we were looking at the second of three prophetic dreams or visions that the prophet Daniel had revealing the future kingdom of the beast. We proposed the question, with all of the nations involved where will the beast set up his headquarters? We will explore the answer to that this time.

In the beginning, before the universe, or the Big Bang, or anything else, there was the WORD, Jesus/Yashua. I remember as a kid laying in my bed and wondering, if there was no God and there was nothing, what would nothing look like? One night I thought about it so much I broke out in a sweat… no kidding. I was 11 at the time!

What was so intriguing about it was not only the valiant attempt to document an alleged "clear cut case of demonic possession", but more importantly to me at least was the scientific qualifications of the researcher.
