Derek P. Gilbert co-hosts a weekly Internet talk show, P.I.D. Radio, with his wife, author Sharon K. Gilbert, and hosts A View From the Bunker, a weekly interview program.

Derek formerly hosted The Drive, the #1 rated afternoon talk radio program in mid-Missouri (basically the stretch along I-70 between Saint Louis and K.C.), and previously spent ten years on the air at music stations in Peoria, Little Rock, St. Louis, and Philadelphia.

While he’s interviewed performers and politicians, songwriters and senators, the two most interesting people he’s ever met are still his wife and daughter.

Derek has always been fascinated by history and the way things work. It was his study of evidence for the authenticity of the New Testament documents that awakened him to the spiritual war raging around us.

This war inspires his writing.  Derek’s published novels are the young adult sci-fi/fantasy mashup Iron Dragons and the supernatural political thriller The God Conspiracy.
